Physician Assistant - Clinical Research

Responsibilities

• Execute Sub-Investigator responsibilities on assigned clinical research projects
• Coordinate specialized clinical research activities ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Perform physical assessments, medical histories, and evaluations of inclusion/exclusion criteria for study participants
• Review laboratory data and assist with medical and clinical oversight of all aspects of clinical work
• Participate in the recording and review of adverse events and concomitant medications
• Review source data and safety data, including laboratory results and vital signs, with the clinical and project teams
• Ensure all established timelines for assigned projects and responsibilities are met
• Support Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work processes to ensure efficient and compliant operations
• Liaise with study sponsors, MedStar Health physician staff, and medical consultants as required

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working as a licensed Physician Assistant (hospital setting preferred)
• Active Physician Assistant License in the state of Maryland
• Strong analytical skills to collect and interpret information from diverse sources
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
