Physical Therapy Technician

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use
• Assisting and/or observing patients perform prescribed therapy exercises
• Documenting patient responses to treatment
• Performing basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas
• Changing and laundering linens
• Performing administrative tasks including patient intake, answering phones, and scheduling

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Proficiency in computer use and ability to learn new software
