Physical Therapy Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use
• Assist and observe patients during prescribed therapy exercises and document responses to treatment
• Perform basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as instructed
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, and change and launder linens
• Assist with patient intake, answer phone calls, and schedule patient appointments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational detail and ability to multitask
• Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software programs
