Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Home Health

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care by Physical Therapist and provide treatment to patients
• Interpret evaluation findings to provide care and safety relating to dysfunction
• Provide treatment based on the goals and follow through with treatment to achieve established goals
• Provide advice and education to patients and family
• Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine the effectiveness of treatment and progress
• Provide discharge planning and communicate when the patient has received maximum benefit
• Provide accurate, timely documentation of physical therapy patient management

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• California PTA License
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Home Health experience
