Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Home Health

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care by Physical Therapist and provide treatment to patients
• Interpret evaluation findings to provide care and safety relating to dysfunction
• Provide treatment based on goals and follow through to achieve established outcomes
• Provide advice and education to patients and family
• Assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine treatment effectiveness and progress
• Provide discharge planning and communicate when maximum benefit is received
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient management

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Valid California PTA License
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home health experience
