Physical Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in the provision of physical therapy services to patients
• Support treatment, program planning, and implementation of therapy protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely related documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Execute services under the direction of a Physical Therapist and per physician orders

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• English proficiency for clear communication with coworkers and patients

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in physical therapy
• Previous experience working in a hospital setting
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of medical computer and software applications
