Physical Therapy Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient transfers and lifts using proper body mechanics
• Support therapists with evaluations, treatments, and modality preparation
• Report treatment activities and patient progress to the therapist
• Maintain cleanliness of the department and sanitize exercise equipment
• Manage linen supplies and medical supplies in treatment areas
• Assist with department communication, including answering telephones
• Help with the delivery, set-up, and clean-up of treatment areas

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be bilingual in Spanish
• Strong customer service and telephone skills
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Word)
• Availability for full-time schedule (Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Physical Therapy Aide in an outpatient setting
