Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care following established protocols and guidelines
• Complete timely documentation including daily notes and progress reports
• Administer manual therapeutic exercises, massage, and electrical modality treatments
• Administer traction to relieve neck and back pain
• Instruct and assist patients with functional activities and daily living tasks
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report findings to the Clinical Director
• Fit and train patients in the use of orthopedic braces and supportive devices
• Collaborate with health team members to coordinate treatment programs
• Measure range of motion, vital signs, and body measurements

Requirements

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Virginia Physical Therapy license
• CPR certification
• Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation plans
• Proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office
