About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess physical status, range of motion, strength, and balance
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, Exercise Physiologists, Technicians, and students
- Maintain accurate medical records and prepare reports according to facility procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies
- Ensure timely documentation including daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries
Requirements
- Degree from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Basic PC skills including EMR systems and MS Office
- Ability to work effectively in an autonomous environment
