Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess physical status, range of motion, strength, and balance
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Provide direct patient care following established protocols and guidelines
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, Exercise Physiologists, Technicians, and students
• Maintain accurate medical records, including daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies
• Adhere to state practice act regulations and the APTA code of ethics

Requirements

• Degree from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification
• Basic PC skills including EMR systems and MS Office
• Ability to work effectively in an autonomous environment
