Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Oversee patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete written plans of care and develop goals based on evaluation findings
• Implement physical therapy treatment programs and provide essential treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies

Requirements

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current or upcoming Wisconsin Physical Therapy license
• CPR certification
• Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation treatment plans or willingness to learn
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment
• Basic PC skills including EMR systems and MS Office
