About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess patient goals and limitations to develop a therapeutic plan of care and therapy timeline
- Carry out therapeutic interventions using the latest evidence-based techniques
- Document evaluations, daily notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries using Raintree EMR
- Maintain patient records in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Provide regular updates to patients, physicians, and other therapists
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Promote health and wellness through community outreach and local events
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state licensure
- CPR Certification (or ability to complete upon hire)
- 1+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
- Strong understanding of biomechanics and functional movements
