About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
- Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
- Oversee patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Complete written plans of care and develop goals based on evaluation findings
- Implement physical therapy treatment programs and provide essential treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies
Requirements
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Minnesota state license
- CPR certification
- Outgoing and energetic personality
