About the role
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient needs for physical therapy
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
- Provide care based on physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards
- Instruct family members, PTAs, and caregivers in physical therapy techniques
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible
- Mandatory First Aid, AED, and CPR Certifications
- Ability to manage patient caseloads and deliver individualized treatment
Preferred Qualifications
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Interest in pursuing specialty certifications (Schroth, Pelvic Floor, OCS, PCS, NGS, or WCS)
