Responsibilities
- Evaluate a patient's need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care
- Instruct family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) Residency
- Desire to participate in leadership development programs
