Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate senior residents' physical conditions, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and custom treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on safe body mechanics
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic records of evaluations, daily notes, and progress tracking
• Partner closely with community care providers and permanent therapy staff to ensure seamless care

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist or license-eligible
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods
