Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Review physician referrals and medical records to determine required treatment
• Provide direct patient care following established protocols and guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and patient/caregiver instructions
• Supervise patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Develop comprehensive plans of care and goal-oriented programs
• Implement physical therapy treatment programs
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries

Requirements

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Maryland state license
• CPR certification
• 1+ years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
