Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice and professional code of ethics
• Deliver rehab services following established plans of care and timely documentation
• Assess and evaluate therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status
• Use procedures and techniques to produce changes in condition consistent with physician plans
• Observe and report patient reactions to treatment and changes in condition
• Instruct patients in skills and techniques for functional activities
• Perform routine reexaminations to modify or progress treatment plans
• Maintain and report equipment repair needs

Requirements

• Graduate of an APTA accredited school with a degree in Physical Therapy
• Current registration with the National Board for Certification in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapy Certification in the state
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience, or 1 year in acute care, skilled nursing, or AL/MC
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs regularly
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Current BLS for HealthCare Providers certification
• Experience treating patients with memory impairment
