Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric physical therapy services, including assessment and treatment
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, including conducting weekly supervisory meetings to review patient issues and plans of care
• Administer a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques appropriate for pediatric age groups
• Recognize deviations from normal pediatric growth and development
• Collaborate with other disciplines within the department and key professionals in the hospital and community
• Participate in ongoing continuing education to enhance clinical skills
• Comply with all legal practice requirements determined by the state license board

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid Ohio Physical Therapy license
• Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric growth and development
• Ability to work a minimum of 6 hours on Saturdays
