About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pediatric physical therapy services, including assessment and treatment
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, including conducting weekly supervisory meetings to review patient issues and plans of care
- Administer a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques appropriate for pediatric age groups
- Recognize deviations from normal pediatric growth and development
- Collaborate with other disciplines within the department and key professionals in the hospital and community
- Participate in ongoing continuing education to enhance clinical skills
- Comply with all legal practice requirements determined by the state license board
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Ohio Physical Therapy license
- Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric growth and development
- Ability to work a minimum of 6 hours on Saturdays
