Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate new patients
• Establish diagnosis, plan goals, and time frames
• Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
• Measure and track intervention effectiveness
• Educate patients on continuing care
• Utilize advanced technology including computerized dynamic post urography
• Use WebPT EMR system for medical record maintenance and productivity tracking
• Record patient visit notes in WebPT within 24 hours

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited PT program
• Current PT license in Maryland
• Ability to carry out skilled treatment plans in an outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation setting
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
• Passion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk populations
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in an outpatient neurological or orthopedic center
• Previous vestibular rehab experience
