Physical Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Administering therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment as needed
• Educating patients and families on safe mobility techniques and exercises
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate patient documentation
• Ensuring patient safety and proper use of assistive devices

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Alabama

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in acute or long-term care settings
