Physical Therapist Assistant Floater

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in patient care and notify supervising Physical Therapists of condition changes
• Follow established Plans of Care and state practice guidelines
• Instruct and counsel patients in exercises and recovery techniques
• Complete documentation in EMR to support service delivery
• Assist with treatments including applying ice/heat packs and monitoring motion
• Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercise routines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and confidential working environment

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of New York or eligible
• Ability to evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans
• Mandatory certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR
• Ability to travel to various clinic locations throughout Nassau County
