About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in assessing patients to develop and initiate treatment plans
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
- Support ensuring patient care meets established standards
- Assist in completing written plans of care and developing goals
- Implement physical therapy treatment programs
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies
Requirements
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current state of Georgia PTA license
- CPR certification
- Skills in exercise, sports rehab, and manual therapy
- Outgoing and energetic personality
