Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric patient assessments and evaluations to determine physical condition and goals
• Create and update treatment plans, testing strength and flexibility
• Confer with physicians, patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Demonstrate exercises to help pediatric patients perform everyday tasks and relieve pain
• Evaluate pediatric patient homes for potential improvements
• Educate families on how to care for and accommodate patients
• Assess progress against goals and prepare reports for providers and insurance agencies
• Complete clinical notes in a timely manner using EMR system
• Contribute to meetings and case conferences for coordinated care

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current and unrestricted NV Physical Therapy license (or ability to apply)
• Current state drivers license and auto insurance
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a pediatric physical therapist
