Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Provide direct patient care following established protocols and guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers
• Oversee patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete written plans of care and develop comprehensive goal-attainment programs
• Implement physical therapy treatment programs and provide essential treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies

Requirements

• Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current or upcoming Michigan Physical Therapy license
• CPR certification
• Basic PC skills including EMR systems and MS Office
• Ability to work effectively in an autonomous environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
