About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide direct patient care following established protocols and guidelines
- Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers
- Oversee patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Complete written plans of care and develop comprehensive goal-attainment programs
- Implement and provide essential physical therapy treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies
Requirements
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Georgia Physical Therapy license
- CPR certification
- Skills in exercise, sports rehab, and manual therapy
- Outgoing and energetic personality
