Physical Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and test current production and new design brake control products
• Analyze data to identify product performance drivers and communicate results to stakeholders
• Prepare detailed test summaries and conduct root cause analysis using engineering resources
• Plan and manage design verification and product validation test work packages
• Execute test work packages to support program milestones and publish required reports
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet cost, reliability, and manufacturing objectives
• Maintain engineering procedures throughout the product development process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of automotive product engineering experience in development and testing
• Experience in test planning, execution, data analysis, and results presentation
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DIADEM, LabVIEW, or Python
• Knowledge of brake design and braking systems
