Physical Security Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems including cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and VMS
• Support access control systems such as badging, controllers, readers, and permissions
• Perform hardware replacements for cameras, readers, controllers, and cabling components
• Troubleshoot system issues across network, hardware, and software
• Execute system testing and develop Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures
• Validate system performance, coverage, failover scenarios, and design compliance
• Produce and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams and device inventories
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and new site rollouts
• Work with vendors and integrators to ensure quality delivery

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with physical security systems (CCTV, access control)
• Experience installing and configuring cameras and access control hardware
• Experience with system testing and commissioning (SAT or similar)
• Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing, VLANs, and PoE
• Basic Linux knowledge for logs, services, and troubleshooting
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports
• Willingness to travel within Europe

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VMS platforms
• Familiarity with access control systems
• Experience in data center or enterprise environments
• Knowledge of low-voltage cabling standards
• Exposure to structured testing methodologies (SAT, UAT, commissioning)
