Physical Security Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and review system designs, schematics, and shop drawings for CCTV, ACS, and IDAS
• Prepare device layouts, riser diagrams, cable routing, and power/networking plans
• Supervise installation of cameras, access control devices, panels, and sensors
• Configure and integrate systems using manufacturer software and network tools
• Perform system commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting
• Conduct system acceptance testing (SAT/FAT) and prepare reports
• Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and site supervisors
• Support procurement by reviewing technical datasheets and material submittals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer Engineering
• 3–6 years of experience in physical security systems
• Expertise in CCTV Systems (IP/Analog, PTZ, VMS platforms)
• Expertise in Access Control Systems (ACS)
• Expertise in Intrusion Detection & Alarm Systems (IDAS)
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (switches, IP addressing, VLANs)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel-based BOQ preparation
• Strong communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LenelS2, Bosch, Honeywell, or Axis solutions
• Knowledge of HCIS, Aramco, or SEC standards
• Certification in major security platforms (Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, Axis)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and low-current drawings
• Arabic language skills
