Physical Security Specialist III

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated program security support for personnel, spaces, and activities
• Respond to alarms and after-hours facility issues
• Act as Insider Threat Prevention Officer and maintain the insider threat program
• Ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 and customer-specific requirements
• Advise the Facilities Security Officer on security initiatives and business impacts
• Assist in creating and executing security education programs
• Report and investigate security incidents and recommend mitigations
• Develop and administer Operational Security programs and physical controls
• Manage alarm/guard response testing, physical security checks, and visitor logs
• Provide personnel security guidance and assist with clearance requests

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 5+ years of industrial security experience in a cleared facility
• Experience conducting security briefings and debriefings
• Experience implementing Personnel, Physical, Communications, and Operations Security
• Ability to possess a US Secret clearance or obtain one within 6 months
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
