About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the 24/7/365 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
  • Manage incident and crisis response, including threat assessment and cross-functional coordination
  • Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for GSOC operations
  • Oversee enterprise-wide situational awareness through physical security systems and intelligence monitoring
  • Drive continuous improvement of security technology ecosystems, including access control and video analytics
  • Build and develop a high-performing GSOC team through coaching and performance management
  • Manage GSOC staffing partners and vendors against established SLAs
  • Ensure compliance with physical-security control requirements such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2
  • Provide operational support for executive travel and sensitive business activities

Requirements

  • 5+ years in GSOC or Corporate Security Operations
  • 2–3+ years leading shift-based teams or managing contract security vendors
  • Proven experience managing 24/7 multi-shift operations
  • Strong knowledge of GSOC technologies (access control, video analytics, mass notification)
  • Familiarity with physical-security controls under ISO 27001 or SOC 2 frameworks
  • Experience scaling operations to support organizational growth
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Foundational knowledge of computer networking and telecommunications

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASIS certifications (CPP, PSP) or Certified Security Operations Center Analyst (CSOCA)
  • Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification
  • Background in intelligence analysis, emergency management, or business continuity
  • Experience supporting global, multi-site, or critical-infrastructure environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
