About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine tests to determine physical, chemical, and elemental properties of materials
  • Ensure accurate data collection, proper operation of laboratory instruments, and adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Receive, log, label, store, and track samples according to laboratory protocols
  • Operate and monitor laboratory instruments and analytical equipment, performing routine calibration and basic maintenance
  • Maintain accurate equipment logs, maintenance records, and laboratory workspace organization
  • Comply with quality management systems (e.g., ISO, GLP) and follow laboratory safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Utilize tools and systems such as LIMS to ensure efficient workflows

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with standardized testing such as ICP, XRF, CHN, UV/Vis, titration, density, flashpoint, MCR, or KF Water
  • Familiarity with ASTM and ISO Standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of laboratory experience
  • Experience with physical testing methods or elemental analysis instrumentation
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
