Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study
• Meet the diverse needs of all students through content knowledge and pedagogical practice
• Provide a child safe environment in accordance with child safe standards
• Maintain records of class attendance and student progress
• Implement effective student management consistent with the school’s strategic plan
• Attend staff meetings and participate in regular staff devotions and prayer

Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification
• Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Evidence of the right to work in Australia
• Commitment to Christian faith and values
• Ability to plan, collect, and analyse educational data to improve student outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in child-connected roles with provided statements of service
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching as per Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
