About the Company

Ecocem Group works on the sustainability of the cement industry with the ambition to halve global CO2 emissions by 2030. We achieve this through the efficient use of ground granulated blast-furnace slag and new, alternative technologies for low-clinker cement.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tests such as compressive strength, water demand, particle size, and initial setting time measurements
• Collect, process, and analyze samples
• Clean, inspect, and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Maintain and optimize work instructions and processes
• Plan and coordinate daily laboratory tests
• Manage and order laboratory supplies
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment
• Occasionally support analytical chemical analyses

Requirements

• MBO education in chemistry, mechanical engineering, or equivalent level
• Experience with physical laboratory testing or strong affinity for laboratory work
• Technical insight and a sense of quality and safety
• Accurate and structured way of working
• Proactive attitude and motivation to improve processes
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Proficiency in Dutch and English
• Experience in an industrial or production environment is a plus
