Photojournalist

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video and audio elements to craft compelling news, sports, and feature stories for linear and streaming platforms
• Collaborate with reporters to develop a cohesive vision for stories
• Independently gather and create stories, showcasing creativity and journalistic prowess
• Edit stories using Edius, Adobe Premiere, and other editing platforms
• Generate digital content and edit vertical videos daily for digital and streaming apps
• Operate electronic newsgathering (ENG) vans and live remote equipment

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in TV photojournalism and/or news editing, OR 2+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in journalism
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
• Flexibility to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Pilot’s license with drone operating experience
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop)
• Competency in operating mirrorless cameras such as Sony FS7 and a7s series
