Photographer

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit VOs, VO-SOTs, and packages for broadcast and digital platforms using professional camera equipment and Adobe Premiere
• Collaborate with the Assignment Desk, reporters, and producers to capture compelling stories and ensure creative visions are met
• Gather high-quality video and still photography for various digital platforms
• Use ENG, SNG, and wireless data to transmit completed work to the station
• Maintain and organize gear and equipment, and manage video files within catalog systems
• Produce and publish content to online platforms
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and in various weather conditions

Requirements

• Professional training in video photojournalism
• Experience working in a newsroom environment
• Proficiency with digital editing tools, specifically Adobe Premiere
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds of equipment
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to operate large vehicles and work under the pressure of time-sensitive production
• Strong journalistic integrity and ethical standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Drone Certification
• Experience with Sat Trucks or Chopper operations
• Knowledge of Precis and CNN platforms
