Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit VOs, VO-SOTs, and packages for broadcast and online platforms
• Collaborate with the Assignment Desk, Reporters, and Producers to cover daily stories and execute creative visions
• Operate professional camera equipment and manage gear maintenance
• Edit content using Adobe Premiere and utilize ENG, SNG, and wireless data for transmission
• Gather video and still photography for digital platforms
• Coordinate incoming video elements from field crews and manage video catalog systems
• Produce and publish content to online platforms

Requirements

• Training in video photojournalism
• Professional or college experience working in a newsroom
• Proficiency with digital editing tools, specifically Adobe Premiere
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds of equipment and work in all weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to handle the stress and pressure of time-sensitive newscast production
• Strong journalistic integrity and ethical standards
