Photographer

Responsibilities

• Establish lighting and set aesthetics to photograph assigned products and models
• Partner with the Photography Manager to maintain high-quality studio lighting for eCommerce and lifestyle shoots
• Abide by designated Fashion Nova brand photographic standard guides
• Coordinate with management on selecting, uploading, and retouching images to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Design creative methods for lighting, set design, and model posing in-studio and on location
• Ensure color consistency and meet daily shot count requirements for all sets
• Work with Art Directors and Stylists to capture and enhance specific product features
• Maintain advanced knowledge of industry photography trends, technologies, and competitive markets

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Photographer in a studio environment, ideally in Fashion eCommerce
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertise
• Proficiency with Canon EOS digital cameras or similar equipment
• Advanced proficiency with Apple products
• Expert knowledge of Capture One and Adobe Photoshop
• Skillful knowledge of fashion, portrait, and eCommerce lighting techniques
• Strong technical troubleshooting, file management, and archival skills
• BA degree in Photography or equivalent professional work experience
• Willingness to work onsite at our Vernon, CA HQ and at offsite locations as needed
