About the role
Responsibilities
- Review quality signals and events, investigate root causes, and drive preventative action activities
- Manage next-generation technology node transfers, including recipes, SOPs, and BKMs
- Follow standard operating procedures to disposition product and test wafers
- Perform routine process monitoring and report on equipment changepoint monitoring (CPM)
- Collect, analyze, and report quality performance data and wafer loss reduction strategies
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and provide technical solutions to equipment-related defect, quality, and yield problems
- Participate in daily tactical meetings and cross-functional meetings regarding quality metrics
Requirements
- 4 years of college in a related field
- 5+ years of semiconductor experience
- Experience with semiconductor equipment such as TEL, SEMES, Screen, ASML, Canon, KLA, or Hitachi
- Strong understanding of photolithography and semiconductor wafer processing fundamentals
- Proficiency in data analysis tools including Matlab, Jump, and complex spreadsheets
- Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, FDC, and yield analysis
- Ability to use root cause analysis techniques such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and flow charts
