Photo and Video Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, and oversee the installation of electrical communication and mission imagery systems
• Define configuration of imagery components including Baseband, Infrared, High Speed Digital, IP camera systems, and video routing systems
• Work with customers to develop system requirements and collaborate with Cable and Transmission teams
• Research and define "Off the Shelf" solutions and work with manufacturers to meet system requirements
• Develop material and labor estimates, order components, and maintain detailed system drawings
• Develop component and system Acceptance Test Procedures, Functional Test Procedures, and Operational Instructions
• Oversee the execution of test procedures and support day-to-day and major operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5 years of experience
• OR Master’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (ABET accredited) with 3 years of experience
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and technologies
• Working knowledge of computer systems and administration
• U.S. citizenship with ability to pass a NASA background investigation
• Ability to pass initial and random drug testing
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
