About the role
Responsibilities
- Collect appropriate specimens from patients as ordered
- Maintain proper documentation including accessioning logs, test report logs, and quality control logs
- Perform specimen analysis for chemistry, hematology, and immunology specimens
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and ensure viability
- Process incoming orders and chart patient results in a timely manner
- Operate and maintain designated laboratory equipment
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly instrument maintenance
- Implement and comply with safety, quality assurance, and OSHA standards
- Maintain patient and medical staff confidentiality
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in lab testing
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (unless exempted via approved accommodation)
