About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collect appropriate specimens from patients as ordered
  • Maintain proper documentation including accessioning logs, test report logs, and quality control logs
  • Perform specimen analysis for chemistry, hematology, and immunology specimens
  • Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and ensure viability
  • Process incoming orders and chart patient results in a timely manner
  • Operate and maintain designated laboratory equipment
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly instrument maintenance
  • Implement and comply with safety, quality assurance, and OSHA standards
  • Maintain patient and medical staff confidentiality

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in lab testing
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (unless exempted via approved accommodation)
