Phlebotomist/Donor Screener

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and donor screening to support plasma center operations
• Greet donors and ensure their safety throughout the donation process
• Screen new and repeat donors by recording vital signs and finger stick results
• Maintain accurate donor records using the Donor Information System
• Coordinate donor compensation and prepare donor charts
• Identify and initiate operational improvements to center processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for the entire work shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience in a customer-facing or patient-facing role
