About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy and donor screening to support plasma center operations
- Greet donors and ensure their safety throughout the donation process
- Screen new and repeat donors by recording vital signs and finger stick results
- Maintain accurate donor records using the Donor Information System
- Coordinate donor compensation and prepare donor charts
- Identify and initiate operational improvements to center processes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for the entire work shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Fine motor coordination and depth perception
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience in a customer-facing or patient-facing role
