Phlebotomist Test Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures to obtain blood specimens with precision and care
• Verify patient identity and test requisitions against EMR records
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and department protocols
• Coordinate patient care services and manage administrative tasks like scheduling
• Collaborate with Field Sales and internal operations teams for patient support
• Act as a primary liaison for accounts and Sales to resolve inquiries
• Ensure compliance with CAP CLIA standards and healthcare regulations
• Monitor and report process improvement needs to enhance efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of phlebotomy experience
• Oncology experience is required
• Phlebotomy Certificate as required by state regulations
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
