Phlebotomist Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other specialized requirements
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain detailed patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients in a Patient Service Center or Client office
• Perform administrative and clerical duties and travel to additional sites when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program
• 2 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 or more years of phlebotomy experience
