About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain study documents, including source charts, study binders, and laboratory kits
  • Schedule and confirm subject appointments and ancillary visits
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, Sponsor, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
  • Assist in participant recruitment through medical record prescreening and outreach
  • Provide subject care, including explaining procedures and monitoring compliance
  • Conduct study procedures such as collecting vital signs and performing ECGs
  • Perform phlebotomy and process biological samples for shipping
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and temperature control systems
  • Enter and verify study data in Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and CTMS databases
  • Maintain and organize participant charts and regulatory documents

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in clinical research or healthcare
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and lab procedures
  • Understanding of HIPAA, FDA, GCP, and ICH guidelines preferred
  • Basic lab skills such as blood draws and specimen processing

Preferred Qualifications

  • BLS/CPR certification
  • CNA or CMA certification
