Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Verify test orders and patient identification
• Obtain blood specimens via venipuncture
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques
• Track collected specimens and maintain daily tallies
• Resolve unusual test orders by contacting the mobile phlebotomy team
• Update job statuses and tracking information in Skedulo
• Manage logistical tasks including printing patient reports and scheduling courier pickups

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a mobile/remote setting
• Adherence to professional standards, federal, state, and local requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• National Phlebotomy Certification
• RN, BS, or BA degree
