About the role
Responsibilities
- Collect patient blood and urine specimens using established procedures
- Prepare, label, and document specimens for shipment and laboratory analysis
- Verify test requisitions and identify patients before specimen collection
- Maintain daily tallies of collections and track laboratory/office supplies
- Provide site-specific procedural training to new employees
- Follow Universal Precautions, OSHA standards, and HIPAA regulations
- Travel to additional sites as needed
Requirements

- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency

- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
