Philanthropy & Community Impact Director

Responsibilities

• Set and execute enterprise-aligned philanthropy and community impact strategies for India and the Philippines
• Manage a portfolio of nonprofit partners with accountability for outcomes, governance, and performance
• Oversee grantmaking processes, including due diligence, approvals, monitoring, and reporting in compliance with local regulations
• Lead employee volunteerism programs, including strategy, program design, and participation tracking
• Manage and develop a team of CSR professionals and operations staff, fostering a culture of talent development
• Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to navigate complex regulatory environments
• Prepare briefings and materials to support senior leader and Board-level engagement regarding regional impact and risk
• Monitor community needs and portfolio performance data to inform continuous strategy improvement

Requirements

• 10+ years of Community Impact or Sustainability experience
• 4+ years of management or leadership experience
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including international travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to navigate regulatory requirements outlined in the Companies Act (India)
• Strong knowledge of philanthropic and nonprofit ecosystems in India
• Experience managing large, complex philanthropic grant portfolios and financial planning
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, highly regulated environment
• Strong executive-level communication skills for Board-level engagement
• Expertise in using qualitative and quantitative data to optimize portfolio performance
