Phenomics Innovation Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Drive phenomics innovation strategy and technical roadmaps aligned with breeding priorities
• Lead end-to-end technology integration from proof-of-concept to operational deployment across international R&D sites
• Serve as a technical authority for emerging technologies in imaging, computer vision, and AI/ML
• Partner with IT teams to architect cloud-based platforms and scalable data pipelines using AWS
• Build an external ecosystem through technology scouting, collaborative research, and intellectual property strategy

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision, or a related field
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing and deploying phenotyping solutions
• Strong technical foundation in imaging technologies, computer vision, and machine learning/AI
• Proven track record of translating business needs into deployed solutions with measurable impact
• Proficiency with Agile frameworks and experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Experience leading collaborative projects with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with seeds R&D, the agricultural domain, or plant phenomics communities
• Experience with digital agriculture platforms and open-source phenomics tools
• Background working within matrix organizations and multi-national teams
