About the role
Responsibilities
- Investigate the sources and fate of terrestrial dissolved organic matter (tDOM) in the Burrum River catchment
- Conduct field and laboratory studies to support research objectives
- Perform analysis of historical data and compare findings with adjacent catchments
- Collaborate closely with the Fraser Coast Regional Council to ensure real-world relevance and address water treatment challenges
Requirements
- First class honours or an equivalent Masters degree (AQF Level 9) with a significant research component
- Undergraduate studies or research experience in aquatic chemistry
- Undergraduate studies or research experience in ecological processes
